Cessie Yu Ling is a 21 year old, Mixed-Chinese-American, Multi-Medium Artist living in Philadelphia PA. In his junior year of high school , Cessie created The Quirky Zipper while attending the Hunterdon County Polytechnic School, where he studied commercial Arts for two years, before graduating in 2021. Before the closure, he attended The University Of the Arts, with a major in acting. Cessie loves to work in immersive theatre, and hopes to continue working in the field.

Cessie's art takes inspiration from some of their favorite childhood toys, including Little People and LaLaLoopsy. Cessie believes in allowing every toy to play with one another. no matter how different they may be.

Likewise, The Quirky Zipper aims to be a shop for every human. One where artistic boundaries can be pressed, and anybody can find a bag that fits their style, and is accessible to their needs, but still allows them to express themselves in full!
